Honar & Sheerin's Wedding
Hey dreamers, Honar and Sheerin's wedding was such a fun and amazing day with family. The wedding was in Kitchener Ontario with closest friends and family. It was such a crazy and exciting time just dancing and not having a care in the world. The singer and piano player got some dance moves out of me that I don't even want to talk about. ALSO Honar grandpa stealing the night by taking the microphone and singing Kurdish songs was probably my favourite moment because he's just so cute. Congratulations to Honar and Sheerin on their beautiful marriage I wish them nothing, but the best Insha'Allah jîyankê xosh hîn herdûk gel êk brêva ben. 💜
I was obsessed with Sheerin wedding dress and the colours she picked for her wedding. She had a dark purple that matched the flowers in her bouquet, the decorations in the wedding hall, and the bridesmaid dresses. Can we also quickly talk about how cute they are together? SO CUTE!
her dress was beautiful on her, I'm obsessed with lace and how the lace covered the back and the front of her dress with the sleeves, which flowed down to the bottom of the dress giving it such a everlasting look to her. Everything just came together perfectly for her with the dress, makeup, and flowers. She looked beautiful I was in love with her look!
I've always said that bridesmaids are something that I love about Kurdish weddings. I genuinely love when a group of your closest friends and family are matching, not only does the pictures come out amazing, but when the bridesmaids and groomsmen are dancing together it makes for the perfect moment. Sheerin's bridesmaids were all so beautiful and I was completely obsessed with the colour of the dresses and the lace fabric for the vîstan. Its simple, but the gold brings a whole other element to the outfit and I love it.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen outfits were perfected and matched nicely with the colours of the wedding. I think it all came together perfectly, and even though it was the middle of summer I got fall vibes from this wedding and I was fully here for it. 🍃 🍂
What I Wore💜
Whats great about having sisters is the fact that you can wear their Kurdish dress and they can wear yours. I wore my sisters blue Kurdish dress for this wedding along with some of her gold jewellery because why not?
Kurdish Belt; the belt I wear to every wedding (from Kurdistan)

Necklace; My sisters gold necklace (from Kurdistan)

Honestly I wish I had pictures like this of what my wear looked like before I danced for so long. My curls can never stay because my hair is so thick, long, and just naturally straight, but I was completely obsessed with my hair this wedding. I got so many compliments because of how perfect my hair suited me. My best friend did an amazing job curling my hair to frame my face, because I can't curl my hair this good.

I did my makeup myself and I was so happy the way it turned out. I had tried some new techniques, which I was so scared it would not work out, but It came out just the way I wanted it. I was obsessed with the look, and was able to get my lashes on successfully (always the worst part for me). This was not hard to do at all, I'm usually the last one to finish getting ready, but because how easy and quick I was able to do it I was not the last one to finish (thats something I should celebrate).
